St. Augustine's Motto: Love God and Do As You Please
BACKGROUND
"Love God and Do As You Please" has been critiqued all throughout time, ever since it left the mouth of St. Augustine, a Latin philosopher and theologian who helped pave the way for Western Christianity. These words have by far, outlived St. Augustine and his predecessors.
However, some people view this saying in a negative way, because the words seem like they are originating from a blunt and irresponsible man. St. Augustine words did hold some solid weight, if looked at properly though. That is what I am seeking to to accomplish with this hub; convey this saying from a Biblical perspective and connect it to the question that has been echoed ever since the beginning of time: "How Can We Know God's Will ?"

Many Christians love and respect John MacArthur for his ability to simply, but intelligently and precisely preach God's Word. I will be sharing a short clip from one his sermons that, in my opinion, beautifully sums up the answer to the question, How Can We Know God's Will?

I could go on and on relaying truths from various devout men of God and sharing truths from scripture, but I just want to leave you with this short video and see if it starts any discussion.
